Welcome to Sea Bees Hightown

'One must nurture the joy in one's life so that it reaches full bloom.'

Nature and Community

A Blend of Floristry, Ceramics, and Artwork...

At Sea Bees Hightown, we are primarily dedicated to providing exceptional blooms, from our extensive funeral flower range to the facilitation of floral grave-maintenance services; from personally designed bouquets to the creation of flower arrangements such as possies, garlands and rosaries: Sea Bees Blooms

Additionally, our Sea Bees Hightown range includes unique hand-crafted ceramics, gifts, cards, artwork as well as our very own organic, ethical (most apiarists trim the queen's wings to enslave her to the colony), undiluted and unaltered honey: products inspired by our love of nature...

and all that is the sea...

Welcome to Sea Bees Hightown

Your Destination for Nature-Inspired Floristry, Ceramics and Artwork.

Ultimately, our mission is to use ingredients that are essentially fresh and organic, from the Samphire that grows wild along the beach shore to the artisan honey created by our busy bee hives housed in our busy and blooming back garden!

Much of the foliage used in floral arrangements is sourced from Hightown itself; in contrast, many of our superior, premium flowers are deliberately selected from anywhere between the wild flowers farms in Ireland to further afield - exotic destinations such as Colombia in South America to the Netherlands in Europe.

“A remarkable and thoughtful creation that exceeded all of my expectations, thank you so very much - my wife said it was her favourite bunch of flowers to date!”

The Gift of Giving...

From handcrafted cards by local artists, to artisan candles, from unique ceramics to exceptional flower creations, from freshly-strung rosaries to hand-made soaps, balms, crochet fauna & flora by Sarah Matthews @Phoenix Kreativ and more...

Certainly, the gifting experience is rooted in all cultures across our world; it is a silent exchange that communicates a sincere gratitude, often from one person to another.

Small gestures are often more meaningful than words themselves: upon reflection and over time, the receiver appreciates more and more the time taken in seleting such a personal gift: it is as significant as the present itself.

'No-one has ever become poor by giving.'

Anne Frank

Exclusive to Sea Bees Hightown, Tracy McLoughlin @Phoenix Kreativ provides The Book Bouquet Package - to find out more, go to Sea Bees Gifts & Cards.

Hightown Village

'For whatever we lose, it is always ourselves we find in the sea...'
                                                                                                                                     E. E. Cummings

Located at the heart of the village, Hightown boasts a beautiful beach at one end, whilst at the other stands the village's only pub: The Hightown Hotel.

Despite the media's presentation of the place, Hightown is not 'posh'; it is uniquely special.

Personally, it is in what the village lacks that makes the location significant. Whilst there are no schools or supermarkets, there are local shops and a thriving community, with a wide-ranging variety of local interest groups: Tennis, Cricket, Poetry, Book Hub, Gardening, Folk Music, Yoga...

There is also peace. There is magic. There is much birdsong, and, of course, the smell of salt and sea...
